BroadbandAccess Wireless Router Plans
Required Minimum Term, Activation Fees, and Early Termination Fee

  • One or Two-year Minimum Term required
  • Activation Fees: $35 per line
  • Early Termination Fee: Up to $175 per line

CDMA Data Roaming (1xRTT)

  • In the Canadian Broadband and Canadian Enhanced Services Rate and Coverage Areas, usage will be charged at a rate of $0.002 per KB or $2.05 per MB.
  • In the Mexican Enhanced Services Rate and Coverage Areas, usage will be charged at a rate of $0.005 per KB or $5.12 per MB.
  • Fixed router units must be deployed within the United States.

Taxes, Surcharges, and Fees

  • Taxes, surcharges, and fees, such as E911 and gross receipt charges, vary by market and as of March 1, 2008, add between 5% and 36% to your standard monthly access and other charges.
  • Monthly Federal Universal Service (11.3% of interstate and international telecom charges as of April 1, 2008; varies quarterly based on FCC rate), Regulatory (up to 7¢ per line), and Administrative (85¢ per line) charges are Verizon Wireless charges, not taxes, and are subject to change.  For more details on these Verizon Wireless charges, call 1.888.684.1888.

Available only to corporate subscribers. For more information, refer to the Major Account Agreement for business or speak with a sales representative. Service is subject to the Major Account Agreement for business, which you should read before activating service. Calling plans not available in all areas. Credit approval required. Billing, shipping, and end-user address must be within the Verizon Wireless licensed and service areas where the wireless phone number is issued. A minimum of 10 BroadbandAccess Wireless Router Plans is required.

Charges for Quick 2 NetSM or dial-up calls will be based on the cell sites used and time of day at the telephone switching office that carries your call, which may be different from the time of day shown on your device. Rates do not apply to credit card or operator-assisted Quick 2 Net or dial-up calls, which may be required in certain areas. Usage rounded up to the next full minute. Charges start when you first press CONNECT or the call connects to a network on Quick 2 Net or dial-up calls, or the call connects to a network on Quick 2 Net or dial-up calls. Time may end several seconds after you press DISCONNECT or the call otherwise disconnects. For Quick 2 Net or dial-up calls, we only bill for those calls that are answered (which includes Quick 2 Net or dial-up calls answered by machines). Quick 2 Net or dial-up calls to “toll-free” numbers are toll-free; you will be billed airtime.

Sharing is available only among corporate subscribers to the BroadbandAccess Wireless Router Plans choosing the Share Option. Sharing is only available for data usage (no voice). Each sharing subscriber’s unused KBs will pass to other sharing subscribers that have exceeded their MB allowance during the same monthly billing period. Customer must maintain a minimum of one hundred (100) corporate subscribers choosing the BroadbandAccess Wireless Router Plan Share Option at all times to qualify, otherwise Verizon Wireless reserves the right to remove the Share Option from all subscribers. Unused KBs will be distributed proportionally as a ratio of the KBs needed by each applicable subscriber to the total KBs needed by all sharing subscribers. Calling plan changes may not take effect until the billing cycle following the change request. BroadbandAccess Wireless Router sharing accounts require setup that may take thirty (30) to sixty
(60) days.

BroadbandAccess Wireless Router Plans: Permitted Uses. You can use our BroadbandAccess Wireless Router Plans for accessing the Internet and for such uses as: (i) Internet browsing; (ii) e-mail; (iii) intranet access (including accessing corporate intranets, e-mail and individual productivity applications made available by your company); (iv) uploading, downloading and streaming of audio, video and games; and (v) Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP).

BroadbandAccess Wireless Router Plans: Prohibited Uses.  You may not use BroadbandAccess Wireless Router Plans for illegal purposes or purposes that infringe upon others’ intellectual property rights, or in a manner that interferes with other user’s service, interferes with the network’s ability to fairly allocate capacity among users, or that otherwise degrades service quality for other users.  Examples of prohibited usage include: (i) service devices or host computer applications, including continuous Web camera posts or broadcasts, automatic data feeds, automated machine-to-machine connections, or peer-to-peer (P2P) file-sharing applications that are broadcast to multiple servers or recipients such that they could enable “bots” or similar routines (as set forth in more detail in (ii) below) or otherwise denigrate network capacity or functionality; (ii) “auto-responders”, “cancel-bots”, or similar automated or manual routines that generate amounts of net traffic that could disrupt net user groups or e-mail use by others; (iii) generating “spam” or unsolicited commercial or bulk e-mail (or activities that facilitate the dissemination of such e-mail); (iv) any activity that adversely affects the ability of other users or systems to use either Verizon Wireless’ services or the Internet-based resources of other, including the generation or dissemination of viruses, malware, or “denial of service” attacks; (v) accessing, or attempting to access without authority, the information, accounts or devices of others, or to penetrate, or attempt to penetrate, Verizon Wireless’ or another entity’s network or systems; or (vi) running software or other devices that maintain continuous active Internet connections when a computer’s connection would otherwise be idle, or “keep alive” functions, unless they adhere to Verizon Wireless’ requirements for such usage, which may be changed from time to time.  By way of example only, you may not use a BroadbandAccess Wireless Router Plan for web broadcasting, or for the operation of servers, telemetry devices and/or Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition devices.

You may assess and monitor your own data usage during a particular billing period, including during the Return Period under your Worry Free Guarantee®, by accessing My Account online, or by contacting Customer Service.

The speed of the Verizon Wireless data network is measured in kilobits (KB) per second.  However, the amount of data transmitted over the Verizon Wireless data network is measured in kilobytes (KB), megabytes (MB) or gigabytes (GB).

Bit

A unit of information that represents a single character.

Byte

A unit of information composed of 8 bits.

Kilobyte

1024 bytes (measuring the number of kilobytes tells you the size of a file and/or the amount of data you have used)

Megabyte

1024 kilobytes (measuring the number of megabytes tells you the size of a file and/or the amount of data you have used)

Gigabyte

1024 megabytes (measuring the number of gigabytes tells you the size of a file and/or the amount of data you have used)

The BroadbandAccess Wireless Router Plans are for individual use only and you may not offer them for resale.

We further reserve the right to take measures to protect our network and other users from harm, compromised capacity or degradation in performance.  These measure may impact your service, and we reserve the right to deny, modify or terminate service, with or without notice, to anyone we believe is using BroadbandAccess Wireless Router Plans in a manner that adversely impacts our network.

We may monitor your compliance, or the compliance of other subscribers, with these terms and conditions, but we will not monitor the content of your communications except as otherwise expressly permitted or required by law.  See verizonwireless.com/privacy.

Verizon Wireless Calling Plans, Rate and Coverage Area, rates, agreement provisions, business practices, procedures, and policies are subject to change as specified in the Major Account Agreement.
